I love the forensics guy, he’s always so sweet. And it’s crazy - what would Conan have done in this episode if the iced tea hadn’t spilled and in last episode if it hadn’t rained?

Criminals always leave evidence behind, even the smartest one of them would.. so Conan probably will find another evidence/lead if that didn't work for him.
